Update: they've been coming by for 3-4 years now and they're amazing! Still love how clean the place feels after they're done cleaning! They're so fast, but very thorough. The inside of my fridge is cleaned and the patio is swept and dusted! Awesome!

First time. Easy, same week availability. Four ladies arrived punctually.  They did a deep clean. Our 2 bed, 2.5 bath town home took them 2.5 hours. They cleaned the oven, microwave, fridge, cleaned windows and most impressively, cleaned our bamboo floors WITH NO STREAKS. That's it, I'm handing over all my pennies to these ladies and bow down to their cleaning prowess. The total cost was $200. Very very happy happy!

Oh how I wept as I walked through my house $80 later as every spec of dust was gone, The pillows were arranged in a fashion that made them look like a hotel and Goodnight Moon was organized so it was in line with its colleagues Good Dog Carl and But Not the Hippopotamus....why oh why didn't we do this before said my husband and I... and we meant for the last 4 years...So yes, Maria G, House cleaners were brilliant. If any of you were thinking of jumping ship on your cleaners, I second the recommendation. They moved stuff off shelves and dusted underneath them...they dusted blinds, did all our dishes (we don't have a dishwasher - long story) and put them away...they cleaned our recycling bins...and this wasn't the deep clean! Team of 3 people 1.5 hours...

We hired Maria G. Housecleaning at the suggestion of our realtor when our house was on the market. Wow! We'd had cleaners for 24 years, but none as professional or thorough as Maria and her crew. They cleaned for us for a total of about 5 months. Each time, we were amazed by how extensively they cleaned. We were in a short sale situation, and money was getting tight, so we greatly appreciated the lower rate than our previous cleaners charged. I wish we'd found Maria G. earlier.  And I wish I knew of similar cleaners in our new town!

The team from Maria G just left my house and I couldn't be more pleased. Setting up the appointment was very easy and they came right on time. Three people worked hard for about an hour and a half in my 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment. Everything looks amazing! They vacuumed and dusted EVERYTHING. The kitchen and bathroom are spotless. They were very friendly and in good spirits. Very, very reasonable price for what they did. Would recommend to anyone.

On time and that 24 hours from first contact. Maria plus 3 arrived, and I couldn't have asked for a better job or a better hourly rate. The house was a real mess but they left it spotless. They cleaned things I hadn't expected, like the fridge inside. Window surrounds were perfect, as were windows - patio inside and out. They missed one mirror and Maria put that right immediately. She's also a nice person and strikes me as someone you can depend on. This was my first time with them, and I am going to continue asking them to keep my house looking good. Great job, Maria & team!

I found Maria G Housecleaning on Yelp (thank you fellow yelpers!) In addition to Yelp reviews, I always check out the reviewer --how many reviews the reviewers each have, etc. Maria's was not my first choice because I was hesitant about the low number of reviews from the reviewers. Don't fret if you have the same concern. This really is as good as it gets and then some.
I called for a short notice move out clean, made an appointment for 8am on a Monday, confirmed my appointment the day before, and they arrived with Maria's son and 3 cleaners for the 2 bedroom and 1 bath apartment.
1. I showed up a few minutes before 8am and they were already on site waiting for me.
2. They did an amazing job with the whole apartment in an hour and a half without any problems.
3. The price was more than reasonable.  They take cash or check.
4. Maria's son asked me to make sure everything was cleaned to my liking (YES it was) and offered to come back if during the walk through, the property manager wants something more.
Two thumbs up!! I know every appointment is different but I very much enjoyed my experience with them and would use Maria G's again.
***Not only was the service great and amazing, Maria's son went above and beyond. The key to the apartment got stuck in the lock and he got it out for me---dont ask, the lock and key look like they are 10 years old.
I paid, said my thank yous and they left. As I was locking up the place, the stupid key got STUCK again!!!  I tried for 10 minutes to get it out without any luck. I called Maria's son to ask how he did it 30 minutes earlier and I still couldn't get it out. He offered to drive back (which he did) even though he was already in the next city over. Now that....that is amazing.

Maria and her team have cleaned my apartment for the past 3 years, and I can't imagine hiring anyone else to do the job. They take pride in their work, and it really shows in the end result. I am always incredibly excited to see my apartment when they're done, because it's so much cleaner and tidier than I could ever get it myself. I highly recommend Maria and her team if you're looking for a housekeeping service.

Maria's crew has been cleaning the three different houses that my wife and I have lived in over the past 4 years, and I they continue to exceed expectations. They are meticulous, trustworthy, and provide a great service at a low cost. They do such a good job that I decided to hire them to clean my company's office space as well. I've also had to call Maria a couple of times over the past few years when we accidentally got locked out of our house, and she has happily come to the rescue with her spare key.

I never write reviews of any kind. I was so blown away by the quality of cleaning, the low price, and Maria's sincerity as a person that I'm actually writing a review. Like Christina M. I was a bit nervous since Maria G isn't "branded" like Molly Maids, Maid Brigade etc. I had nothing to worry about. The apartment went from biohazard to looking like it was built yesterday - and her charge was absurdly low. What's more, since I was out of town on cleaning day, she didn't even worry about the money until later - amazing. I gave her a 20% tip. The only minor minor nitpick was, on cleaning day I wasn't 100% sure she was actually coming, or what time, since she hadn't confirmed the exact time. However, her associate called me back mid-morning to confirm. Seriously, I know nothing about the housecleaning industry but if word gets out about Maria G, she is going to totally dominate.

I found Maria on Yelp. She called me right back when I left a message on her phone. I don't know Spanish and she has an accent, so communicating was a little difficult, but well worth it! She and her team of 4 came right on time and cleaned my 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment thoroughly for $100. This is WAY less than I would have paid anywhere else, I shopped around before calling Maria. The apartment looks AMAZING! It was pretty grimy before as tenants have been rotating through for years and it probably had not been cleaned in ages. The kitchen is sparking and every little crack and crevice is squeaky clean. Maria and her team pay real attention to detail. I also felt very comfortable leaving them in my home because I had to go to work. I HIGHLY recommend Maria G!

While it seems almost redundant to add another 5-star review to a great organization's Yelp page, these are folks that deserve every business boost they can get. I was initially nervous about letting a perfect stranger clean my house. I've had housecleaners before, but they were always people we already knew before. They did a decent job, good enough that we never had to worry about keeping our floors swept and counters clear.  Our last cleaner was a friend of ours who we hired as she was looking for work. Once she found a full-time job in SF, it was time for a new service. We found Maria G's on Yelp, of course. Did a walkthrough with Jose, Maria's son, who was a consummate professional. Every time I told him he could skip this or that part of the house (areas that we rarely use), he would insist that his team CLEANS ALL THE THINGS. We negotiated a rate. It was about $5 less than we'd been previously charged, and it sounded like it would include more people and more cleaning.  We set up a trial cleaning the next day. They brought a team of 3-4 people (I think 2-3 is the norm for ongoing cleaning) for the first cleaning, and WOW. They went DEEP and DETAILED. Just as Jose promised, they essentially skipped nothing. They also seemed to know just where to put things in the kitchen-- they had a great intuitive sense of where our stuff goes. I didn't have to go hunting for stuff as I sometimes had to do other times. I feel good about this business and I definitely plan to make them our regular housecleaners! Highly recommended!

Maria and her team are great...they really are detail oriented and have a lot of integrity. I love coming home and seeing everything sparkling and perfect. For my 2/2, her team is usually 3-4 people, clean bathrooms, fold laundry, clean kitchens, change linens, dust, sweep decks/patios, wash windows, do dishes, take out trash, and even throw in a load of laundry. The team is very good at taking instructions and following lists. I always give them a 20% tip because they deserve it.

Maria G Housecleaning was great and I would definitely recommend her!!  We just used her and her team for the first time as we recently moved to Sunnyvale.  I was really impressed by what a great and thorough job they did and we will definitely be using them in the future for monthly housecleaning.
